Blog:How to Identify Fake UGG Designer Boots

uggs on sale, also referred to as uggs or ug boots, are a style of sheepskin boot, with wool as the inner lining and a tanned outer surface worn by both men and women. The UGG Australia story began in 1978, when Brian Smith, a young surfer from Australia, took a trip to the United States with a bag full of sheepskin boots.
Now let me introduce you something about how to identify fake ugg designer boots.
First Research the seller of the Ugg boots. Various Internet websites that specialize in selling designer clothing and fashion, such as eBay and similar auction websites, are known to be places where sellers try to get rid of fake designer knockoffs
Second Check the price. If the price for the Ugg boots are too good to be true, it most likely is. UGG Ultra Short Boots are known to be quite expensive. Classic Ugg boots start at about $60, though various other UGG Ultra Tall Boots fashions and styles can cost up to $200. A cheap pair of Ugg boots may mean they are fake, counterfeit designer goods.
Third Read the Ugg boot tag. If it’s made in China, they are genuine Ugg boots.
Fouth Feel the boot material and inspect the manufacturing. Real Ugg boots are made with high-quality cloth and material, and the stitches and workmanship will be solid.
Five Avoid buying Ugg boots from un-reputable third parties. Purchase Ugg boots from reputable sellers and dealers to protect yourself from wasting money on cheap Ugg boots that aren’t the real thing.

Blog:Property investments

Every year 150,000 people “invade” Punta del Este during the summer months, bringing life to a seaside resort where there are only 8,000 permanent residents.
I have Italian, American and Spanish clients who choose Punta del Este for its beauty, they are looking for peace and security.
“Every foreigner who comes here falls in love with the place and wants to stay. They are looking for a nice property with a sea view,” he adds.
If you are interested, prices start at US$100,000, rising to $1 million.
“In 2007 and 2008, a lot of people bought properties by the ocean, something that in Europe is hardly feasible.”
There may be a recession elsewhere, but for the well-heeled, life in Punta del Este does not seem to have changed

Blog:Rise and fall

Tango is seen by many in Argentina as part of the heart and soul of their country. It has also become a lucrative source of revenue.
Visitors to Buenos Aires can take in dinner while they watch a tango show, or even learn the dance at a tango salon.
The growth of tango venues came about after the fall of the Argentine economy at the end of 2001.
The devaluation of the country’s currency, the peso, suddenly made Buenos Aires a cheap place to visit, attracting millions of visitors from around the world.
Argentina’s half-dozen traditional tango venues soon multiplied, with dozens of new tango shows.
Between 2007-2008 Argentina’s tango shows made about $80m in profits.

Blog:Shell beats Wal-Mart as top firm

Oil giant Royal Dutch Shell has replaced US retail group Wal-Mart as the world’s largest company, the latest annual survey by Fortune magazine says.
There are also fewer US corporations in the list of the 500 biggest firms than at any time since the publication started keeping records in 1995.
The annual survey ranks the largest companies by revenues, not profits.
The new list gives ammunition to those who believe the US’s top dog status in the global economy is under threat.
For the first time in 10 years, the biggest firm is not from the US.

blog:SEC, BofA plead for Merrill bonus settlement

Bank of America Corp and the top U.S. securities regulator sought to persuade a judge to approve their $33 million settlement of a civil lawsuit over the lack of disclosure of billions of dollars of bonuses at Merrill Lynch & Co.

A settlement would address part of what has become one of the hottest controversies of the global credit crisis.

In a filing on Monday, Bank of America told Judge Jed Rakoff of Manhattan federal court that it did not mislead shareholders about its approval of up to $5.8 billion of bonuses, saying it was “widely understood” that Merrill would pay out billions.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said that the largest U.S. bank was wrong not to tell shareholders about the payouts, but that a settlement strikes a fair balance between deterrence and not punishing shareholders further.

Rakoff rejected the settlement on Aug 10, demanding many more details about who knew what and when about the bonuses, including the decision not to reveal what would become $3.6 billion of bonus awards. The merger closed on Jan 1.

Blog:Basques mourn symbolic oak tree

Authorities in the Spanish city of Guernica are mourning the death of a 146-year-old oak tree seen as a symbol of Basque nationalist pride.
The tree, which stands in front of the local council building, survived the infamous 1937 bombing of the city during the Spanish Civil War.
But the fierce heat of last summer finally finished it off.
The tree was the third “Guernica oak”, continuing a tradition that stretches back to medieval times.

Blog: Unique UGG Boot

uggs on sale are fast becoming one of the fashion trends of the decade. The Ugg boot is usually a high fitting boot, mostly coming up above the ankle, and usually much higher.
It is now the norm to find Ugg boots in the stores and online which feature a wide range of colors including bright reds and greens or pinks, and all sorts of other bright colors. In the past you had little choice for your Classic Uggs Mini Boots but they are now available in a wide range of colors and styles.
The Ugg boot is not a hardwearing boot like a leather boot though, and you need to take a little care with your Uggs boot. They are a soft boot but made with a hard plastic sole, with the sheepskin sewn onto the sole. The sole is generally hard wearing but the sheepskin sides can be prone to getting dirty very easily, though they can be easily washed.
But as any UGG Classic Short Boots devotee will tell you, a good pair of Uggs will be the most comfortable footwear you will ever have on your feet.

blog:T-shirt designers launch their own firm

Kovet Kouture, a new clothing line, has been launched by two young t-shirt designers in the US.

Katie Kelly and Kris Ewton set up the line, which according to the Boston Globe is becoming a “fashion sensation”.

The girls said they had had enough of paying high prices for designer and vintage t-shirts and decided to design their own.

“We were all sick of paying $80 for designer tees,” Ms Ewton, 25, told the newspaper.

“In Manhattan, particularly, thrift shops were asking $25 for a used t-shirts.”

The pair claim their t-shirts are aimed at promoting self reflection and some carry messages such as ‘Judge Yourself’ and ‘It’s Who I Am’.

They are printed on plain t-shirts made of soft fabric and some are emblazoned with the company’s own custom-designed logo.

Ms Kelly is in her third year at the New England School of Law, while Ms Ewton works for diamond brand Hearts On Fire.

Meanwhile, another t-shirt designer is testing her work, as Rebecca Mueller, a nurse from Bettendorf, Iowa has won a competition to have her tees sold for charity.

According to the Des Moines Register, Ms Mueller won a competition and will see her design sold in support of the Compassion Fund – to help poor and homeless women.

blog:T-shirt manufacturer to restructure

US-based T-shirt manufacturer Hanesbrands is planning a restructuring which will see the firm relocate operations to domestic and overseas factories.

The company, which launched on the New York Stock Exchange on September 6th in a spin-off from Sara Lee, will move operations to its US, Caribbean basin and Central American factories.

The plants to undergo restructuring make sweatshirts, T-shirts and sports shirts.

Chief executive Richard Noll indicated the firm plans to reduce its costs by moving the production, reports Bloomberg.

“It’s fairly impressive they have this in place so quickly after the spin-off took place,’ John Buckingham, president of Al Frank Asset Management told the news provider.

“It’s good news to get your costs under control.’

Following its initial public offering, Hanesbrands has become one of the world’s biggest clothing manufacturers.

The firm’s brands include Champion, Hanes, Playtex and Wonderbra.
